AhlulBayt News Agency - "The Syrian army shelled Jeish al-Islam's strongholds near the villages of Hawsh Nasri and Hawsh al-Dawahirah with a large number of missiles and artillery shells to pave the ground for a new operation in Eastern Ghouta," the sources said.
"These two villages are the current targets for the Syrian Armed Forces; especially, after Jeish al-Islam conceded the nearby town of Hawsh al-Farah," the sources added.
These two villages are the last two sites on the road to Tal Kurdi; this is the primary reason they are the next target for the Syrian Armed Forces.
In relevant developments on Wednesday, the Syrian army and its allies, supported by the air force, advanced in the Eastern parts of Damascus.
The sources said that Hawsh al-Farah region in Eastern Ghouta was the scene of clashes between the army forces.
They added that the army has made remarkable advance in Hawsh al-Farah from the two sides of Brigade 39 and al-Moqtabal regions.
"The Syrian troops limited the terrorists-controlled areas to Syriatel building and square, a mosque and a number of houses, the sources and then captured these regions in an offensive supported by air backup," the sources added.
